Natives of the island of Galisyr, the Galisians were elevated into sentience by Otar-Kul, an Otan deity resident to the island. The Galisians resemble long-limbed frogs or toads, with wide-mouthed heads seated on short, inflexible necks. Most Galisians speak both their native language, Golengo, as well as a dialect of Old Wergolis still spoken by the colonial descendants on the island. Galisian skin varies widely in color and pattern, with members of the same family often having wildly different skin coloration.
Native Galisians have little government, having formed a composite culture with the Wergol colonists in the intervening millennia. All residents of the island are ostensibly ruled directly by Otar-Kul.
